According to the American Coalition for Ethanol (ACE), the availability of ethanol has reduced  the cost of gasoline between 6 and 9 cents per gallon. Recent pricing data reports ethanol for blending is selling 10 to 35 cents less than gasoline. Accounting for the blender's tax credit, wholesale E10 is 6 to 9 cents less than gasoline. ACE also reports that Marathon Oil Corp. and ExxonMobil are taking advantage of the ethanol economics and beginning in May some of their terminals will only offer E10. Read more at ACE.
